Holland Park (Kyoto garden)

Today a great friend of mine and I spent the warm afternoon at Holland Park– a first visit for both of us. I live just by Regent’s Park and so I infrequently venture to other parks. It was quite worth the visit, because of the Japanese garden-a gift from the Kyoto Chamber of Commerce in 1991.P1070494I learnt today that peacocks are quite fond of eating popcorn and how beautiful is this one?P1070520P1070523After wandering around for quite a bit, we got some lunch and I took off my shoes, folded my legs underneath my dress and started on my new book, which I picked up from Daunt books, earlier in the afternoon.P1070526My friend picked up Khaled Hosseini’s new book, which I’ve heard great things about.

I snapped tons of pictures of beautiful plantlife, which I anticipate looking through.
