sushi

Damn you LA traffic! We had piled in my cousin’s car, with intentions of spending the late afternoon at the Getty museum, but the snail like pace of the rush hour traffic, made it absolutely imposible to arrive in decent time to explore. Quite disappointed, I suggested a sushi supper to lift spirits.

My cousin drove to an unpretentious little place close to her apartment and we had an early supper there. I’ve been practising a pesco-vegetarian diet for a while now and any mention of sushi brightens my mood. My cousin ordered the fried eel rolls pictured above. I’m not a fan of deep fried foods, but my cousin’s rolls were delicious in that greasy, crispy way that fried foods tend to be. My rainbow rolls were yummy and heading to Sprinkles Cupcakes for dessert afterwards certainly cheered us all up.
