New Year’s eve

Dining at Bottega Louie is an experience. The resto feels like a union of people, who value the importance of dressing for a feast and food that seeks to please such people.It also lacks that element of pretend,that LA tends to have. I loved capturing the kitchen in motion. It is also located in the middle of the restaurant,which I quite like.

I had previously had brunch,supper and dessert at the resto on my last visit to LA, so we decided to head there for a ‘spot of tea’ with a twist. I’m talking glasses of port with indulgent dessert. I went for the beignets with raspberry compote. A great choice. My London friends have already rung in the new year,while I’m still anticipating on this side of the pond.
